Breastfeeding Training and Workshops

Mammas delivers high quality, specialist breastfeeding training for professionals working with mothers and their families, as well as delivering training to mothers who wish to become Mamma peer supporters.
Our training is delivered by Sally Etheridge, Mammas' Project Lead, assisted by Mammas Breastfeeding Peer Supporters.
Sally is a trained teacher, and has many years experience in leading workshops, developing and delivering training, and facilitating groups. She specialises in the field of breastfeeding peer support, and has been involved in developing courses, training professionals to set up successful peer support programmes, and training mothers as peer supporters, since 2007, mostly with the La Leche League Great Britain Peer Cousellor Programme, and was a member of their Education and Development Department.
Sally became an IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) in 2008. She has worked with mothers and babies for over eleven years, and was a La Leche League Leader from 2001 - 2012.
