Breast Pump Loan Service

If You Need to Express Your Milk

Picture
Mammas have a limited number of hospital quality, dual-action, electric pumps available to loan.

Our pumps are available for those who live in Leicester City and need them for a short period for specific reasons.

We are sorry but we do not have capacity to loan pumps for mothers returning to work or for trips away.

You will need to pay for the Collection Kit - the new pump parts that fit on your breasts to collect the milk.

Borrowing the pump is free of charge.

A mother may need to borrow a breastpump for any of the following reasons -

  • Her baby is premature or sick and she wants to provide her breastmilk for him or her
  • Breastfeeding could not be established after birth for any reason
  • Breastfeeding has been interrupted and she wants to ensure she maintains a good supply
  • She may have started formula feeding and now regrets it and wants to go back to breastfeeding
  • Her baby is not able to fully breastfeed for any reason, and she wants him or her to only receive her breastmilk
  • She has to be separated from her baby for a time and wants her baby to receive her milk in the meantime

If you need to hire a breastpump, call the Mammaline - 07794667791, Gujarati/Urdu Line - 07794667901, or call Sally - 07580159278.

Don't forget that hand-expressing is easy, practical, and can be very quick and efficient once you have the hang of it.
Cost-free, safe, hygienic, and practical - no specialised equipment needed, just clean hands and something clean to catch it in! You can watch a helpful video clip of how to Hand Express
here, click on the video below, or visit our resources pages for more help.

Form for pump hire - please do not fill this in without speaking to us first.
