Become a Hospital Peer Supporter! New course starts January 2025!
We are looking for volunteers to support new parents in our local hospitals for one morning a week for at least 6 months. You will receive full training and your travel expenses.

We are looking for people who:
- Breastfed their own child or children
- Are able to complete our 10 week in person training course
- Are able to complete the University Hospital Leicester Volunteer Induction and Training (free of charge)
- Can commit to regular volunteering, following successful completion of the training
- Our next training will be January - March 2025
- Online introductory session - Thursday 16th January 8.00pm - 9.00pm
- Then 10 face to face sessions at Thurnby Lodge Children's Centre, Dudley Avenue LE5 2EG
- First session - Tuesday 21st January 9.30am - 12.00
- No session during school half term (17th Feb)
